Hello! I’m Bryan Castro, a software developer at a consulting company and a computer engineering student at UPIICSA. During my studies, I've led two communities and organized events to foster student talent. I founded Binary Brains, a software development club at UPIICSA in 2023 . It provides a space for students to work on personal projects, learn best practices, and get support in entering the tech industry. We've hosted events on topics like cybersecurity and AI, attracting around 500 students from across Mexico. As the project leader of Binary Brains, I guide students through building projects from scratch, focusing on open-source development.

I'm also a Notion Campus Leader, a role I took on this year. I organized Hacktion, a hackathon at Wizeline Mexico, aimed at first-time participants. With support from Github Campus Experts, we provided mentorship and tools like GitHub Pages and the Notion API to help students overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

This year I organized a hackathon called Hacktion, which took place at the Wizeline Mexico offices in collaboration with Github Campus Experts. This event was specifically designed for those who had never participated in a hackathon before. With 80 participants, we brought in great mentors to teach students, helping them overcome their fear of facing new challenges and learning how to create ideas in a short time using tools like GitHub Pages and the Notion API. The event also featured workshops, talks, and plenty of inspiration to motivate participants to pursue their goals.

**Can you tell us about a time when you took the lead in your community to address a challenge? Please share the outcome, and how you would leverage your experience and the resources provided by the GitHub Campus Experts program to handle current or future obstacles. ***
